The debate flares, as it always does. One set begot the other, in the end. Evolutionary thought, however, is another matter. Richard Dawkins speaks of his memes and their memeology in many of his works. Quite simply, ideas that no longer evolve are as septic flesh and should be excised just the same.
Even the greatest note of humanity's gesture towards peace can become as such, if not properly regulated. How much good did the Americans do at the inception of the United States -- how much evil does that government now do whilst flying the same banner, today?
Hatred exists for a reason. It is an emotional response to things such as injustice. The injustice can either stem from atrocity or protracted control. The latter is the former, as it were; so while we see many Ameican and British politicians barking up trees where children play, we then come to realize that these children are the future of our respective countries and should not be made to suffer because they've picked an apple or pomegranate.
True compassion, understanding and the freedom given to these youngsters to live their own lives and forge their own paths are tantamount to the healthy recursion of society... and anything but absolute freedom to think logically for themselves is nothing less than a travesty of humanity and should be severely castigated.
